Help a ________ out!

When I taught fourth grade, (ONE year only. Almost made me quit teaching altogether....) I had a student that would always try and get me to give him the answers. I, of course, would make him use his brain instead and try and figure it out on his own after I made sure he knew what to do and where to look for the answer. Anyways, I've been thinking about him because when he would do this he would always say (and I would always want to bust out laughing but would refrain...) "Aww come on Mrs. Dunn, help a brother OUT!"

I've been thinking about him because I've been saying to our little man trying to get him to come... "Aww come on ____, help a MOTHER out!"
